Kaplan Financial Reviews

Rude and ineffective administration. I had enrolled online to a course, but received no communication about the extra steps to "activate" the course until well after the course commencement.
When I tried to provide feedback to the administration staff, she kept repeating "Hello" on the phone for a minute as though she could not hear me, even though there is no reason for my line to cut out and the timing was a little too convenient.
This is my first impression of Kaplan and it is not a good one.

They pride themselves on being as great "alternative" college. I received 2 bachelors at others and only had to get a license through them. They take 2 hours or more to answer a call. They don't even know what to do when when they finally answer.
This place is a waste of space compared to the other universities I've had the PLEASURE of attending.

The practice quizzes and exams were very similar to the questions asked on the actual exam. I have massive test anxiety, and I often can’t get above a 60% on tests due to the pressure I feel, but I passed on my first try thanks to Kaplan!

Kaplan is a great bar prep program. After completing all of the assignments and lectures, as well as completing the practice exams and multiple choice questions, I felt very prepared to take the Texas Bar Exam. My regional director was very helpful and very supportive in my bar prep journey. The professors were very engaging. The essay graders were very helpful in assisting me with my essay portion of the test. My bar prep experience was a excellent experience, and I also passed the Texas Bar Exam on the first try.

Great content, well organized, allowed me to customize a study schedule that fit me.

My Account Manager, Chad Roland, lives in Wisconsin and I've sent him Kaplan Securities Book orders for the past three to four years - and we have never met face-to-face.
However, we are friends via emails. When I send a weekly book order, the first paragraph is sharing something I'm doing and ask how his family is and then I tell him something about my family. it's after the catching up with my friend, that I add, "and my book order is below".
That's why this 5 star rating is really for Chad and the company, Kaplan, that he works for. I like how you can go through questions you've previously answered incorrectly. Great feature other services dont have.

I wanted to give more stars but the book has way too many errors for such an organization and the subject matter. It's crucial that I not learn incorrect things right from the gate. I expected a much higher level of quality control.
Qbank is helpful overall, but by the time I figured out some of the ways to review the already taken test results I was too far into the studying.
They need to work on basics... this is important for my field... do it right the first time.
Other than that it's mostly good.

Excellent coverage on Coverdale, 529's, 457's, IRA's, Mutual Funds, Retirement Funds, IAR IA and BD Registration, and Exempt, and Non-Exempt Securities on The Series 66 study. I feel well prepared for Agency Licensing. Thanks for everything Kaplan University!!!

Kaplan updated practice review materials to more closely emulate actual Finra test. Instructor called every week to answer any questions and motivate my studies.

A coworker recommended Kaplan Financial as the preferred choice for my learning. The material was thorough and provided ample practice/reference tools. Because of this, I not only passed my exam but my Proctor told me my grade was TOP 5%. I was beyond amazed but glad I chose the right education program to ensure I was prepared. Thanks KAPLAN!!!
